Dr. Harris has been the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Highland Park since 1997. He is a member of the Highland Park Hospital Ethics Committee and is involved in a variety of community volunteer programs. He was awarded the humanitarian of the year award at Highland Park Hospital for 2008.
